KPRS Breaks Ground at Brea Plaza

KPRS Construction Services, Inc. was pleased to celebrate the new construction under way at the Brea Plaza Shopping Center with a ground breaking ceremony on February 4, 2010. The owner-developer is a joint venture of Bosc Equities of Detroit, MI and Steadfast Companies of Newport Beach. The architect is Architects Orange of Orange, CA.

Brea Plaza, at the northwest corner of Imperial Highway and Associated Road, is a 15.5 acre commercial site that was originally built in 1975 and modified several times over the years. The estimated $35 million renovation will re-configure the center with a more unified appearance including…

"Partnering with KPRS Construction" Subcontracor Luncheon

In late February 2010, KPRS Construction Services, Inc. hosted a subcontractor luncheon event with a focus on policies concerning safety, insurance and billing. The luncheon was held at The Clubhouse at Anaheim Hills Golf Course and proved to be a beneficial meeting for all in attendance. Paul Kristedja, KPRS V.P. Construction, lead the meeting along with staff including Tom Tufts (Safety Director), Kevin Vail (Post Construction Manager), Chuck Lam (Purchasing Director), Lela Montanez (Office Manager) and Bruce Timbers (Controller). After the meeting was finished, a Mexican buffet lunch was served and networking between KPRS staff and subcontractors was underway.

Montclair Youth Center Dedication Ceremony

KPRS and the City of Montclair celebrated the Grand Opening of the new $2.7 million Montclair Youth Center on January 28, 2010. The 8,000-square-foot project transformed the old Police Station into a positive space for children and teens to relax after school. The project architect, WLC Architects, designed the facility with a cyber cafe, computer lab, homework areas, arts-and-crafts room as well as a snack bar. KPRS Approved to Begin Burbank Water & Power Service Center

The Burbank City Council voted in its May 5th Council Meeting to approve KPRS Construction Services, Inc. as the general contractor for the Burbank Water & Power Service Center and Warehouse project. The demolition of the existing facility and construction of a new two-story 22,176 square foot service center and 16,700 square foot warehouse is slated to begin June 1st, 2009 and be completed mid-July, 2010.
