KPRS President Joel Stensby and son, Lucas, travelled to Tanzania, near the border of Kenya, with 3 friends. They had one mission: climb Africa's Tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. 2nd Annual KPRS Red Cross Blood Drive

KPRS has hosted its 2nd Annual Red Cross Blood Donation Drive on April 6th, 2006. The all-day event was a huge success, with over 46 donors stopping by to donate blood. It is estimated that one pint of blood has the potential to save 3 lives. This means that this KPRS Red Cross Blood drive helped save approximately 138 lives. That is truly amazing.

We would like to thank all the donors who contributed their time and blood to this wonderful cause. We look forward to seeing all of you at our 3rd Annual KPRS Red Cross Blood Drive.

Ontario City Library Opens to the Public!

KPRS and the City of Ontario celebrated the Grand Opening of the new City of Ontario Public Library. The $19 Million state-of-the-art library was expanded to 60,000 square feet, and hosts many new amenities and improved services to the public.

The library significantly enhances educational opportunities for the entire community with features such as 44 new electronic workstations for adults, children's computer labs, a new children's area with story room, reading and activity area, a computer lab and homework center, a cyber cafe and outdoor patio and 140 new parking spaces.

The City of Los Angeles Dedicates the new North Valley Police Station

The North Valley Police Station Dedication and Grand Opening Ceremonies were held on April 30th, 2005 in Mission Hills, California, at the site of the newly constructed station. The celebration was attended by Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn, Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton, and several city dignitaries. The Area 19 station oversees the city's newest police zone, and aims to improve response times for the rapidly growing San Fernando Valley.
