Citigroup Leads the way in LEED Certified Locations

Citigroup announced today that it is the first company in the world to have over 100 LEED Certified locations. Citigroup has 114 LEED Certified branches in 34 states in the U.S. KPRS is proud of our association with Citigroup, working closely with Citi Realty to deliver several of these LEED Certified branches here in Southern California. KPRS Construction Services, Inc. shares Citigroup’s dedication to economic, environmental and human health initiatives in the construction industry, and looks forward to future Citigroup projects.

KPRS Breaks Ground on Newport Beach Oasis Senior Center

KPRS Construction Services, Inc. and the City of Newport Beach kicked off construction of the new Oasis Senior Center in Corona Del Mar with a ceremonial groundbreaking on March 24th, 2009. The new project will include the demolition of the existing facilities and construction of a new, 43,240 square foot community center. The state-of-the-art facility is designed by RCA+A, the same architecture firm that designed a similar community center in Mission Viejo. Major benefactors of the project include The Irvine Company, and HOAG Hospital.

Acromil wins 2007 City of Industry Beautification Award

The Acromil production plant received the 2007 City of Industry Beautification Award on June 5, 2007 at the IMC Executive Luncheon. The Award was presented to Rick Mezza of Acromil by Jon Konheim from the City of Industry. The 36,000 square foot addition houses 16,000 square feet of new office space and 20,000 square feet of new shop floor space; adding to the existing 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Team KPRS takes on the CHOC/Disneyland Walk in the Park

On Sunday October 8th, 2006, six KPRS employees formed the KPRS CHOC Walk Team and participated in the 2006 CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk in the Park, raising $1,555.00. The CHOC walk commenced at 7am. The KPRS team walked a total of 3 miles through Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney in support of this wonderful cause.
