
KPRS Breaks Ground at Brea Plaza KPRS Construction Services, Inc. celebrated the new construction under way at the Brea Plaza Shopping Center with a ground breaking ceremony on February 4, 2010. The owner-developer of the project is a joint venture of Bosc Equities of Detroit, MI and Steadfast Companies of Newport Beach. The architect is Architects Orange of Orange, CA.Brea Plaza, at the northwest corner of Imperial Highway and Associated Road, is a 15.5 acre commercial site that was originally built in 1975 and modified several times over the years. The estimated $35 million renovation will re-configure the center with a more unified appearance including architectural interest that blends tower elements, cornices, columns, tile roofs and fabric awnings. Also in this major update, the Loftus Creek Channel will be covered to expand parking. A number of new tenants will be welcomed. Leases are signed for Mother’s Market, Panera Bread, Chipotle, and Total Wine. The first store openings are set to begin this summer and continue through February of next year.
