KPRS Approved to Begin Burbank Water and Power Service Center

The Burbank City Council voted in its May 5th Council Meeting to approve KPRS Construction Services, Inc. as the general contractor for the Burbank Water & Power Service Center and Warehouse project. The demolition of the existing facility and construction of a new two-story 22,176 square foot service center and 16,700 square foot warehouse is slated to begin June 1st, 2009 and be completed mid-July, 2010. The roughly $15 million project was designed by Leo A. Daly Architects, and will include a new canopy structure with solar panels, new vehicle car wash station, a new security office and vehicle entry gate, parking areas and site improvements.
