Designed with the State School Facilities Program, the new K-6 elementary school, located in the new housing
community of Heights, incorporates 50,000 square feet of new buildings, accommodating 800 students. Seven buildings are arranged to create a communal courtyard, highlighting an abstract colored concrete tropical oasis and amphitheater used for student body and community gatherings. Steel entry canopies, manufactured stone, and redwood detailing ease the new school into its new surroundings.
